A Letter from the Founders: Lakeside Christian Academy is partnering with RenewaNation!

Dear Family and Friends of Lakeside Christian Academy,

Over the coming months, Lakeside Christian Academy will partner with RenewaNation, a nationally recognized organization in Christian education. RenewaNation seeks to transform culture by helping children develop a biblical worldview. Through its various products and services, it inspires and equips the family, church, and school.

One such program targeted to support existing Christian schools is their Christian School Renewal program. A key focus of this program is to help schools drive long-term sustainability, so they can multiply their impact and reach many more students with a biblical worldview education. RenewaNation believes that Jesus Christ is the foundation of a Christian school, and the long-term sustainability of a Christian school will be dependent on the strength of its vision, mission, philosophy, and leadership. 

The renewal process involves a three-phase approach. During the first phase, RenewaNation uses a structured methodology, utilizing tools from both education and industry, to assess all facets of a Christian school. Critical gaps are identified, and the current state of the school is assessed against known best practices, pinpointing significant opportunities for improvement. The outcome of this assessment serves as the initial feed for the second phase of renewal, the strategic planning process.

RenewaNation staff will guide the school through both the planning process as well as the development of a strategic deployment plan. Partnerships with various subject matter experts in Christian education are also used to help address opportunities during the third phase of implementation and coaching.

Lakeside Christian Academy is blessed to have you and your family as part of our team, and we are excited about our collective future.  As part of the assessment process, RenewaNation will be interviewing various stakeholders including teachers, students, and parents as they seek to identify avenues of opportunity and help facilitate our leadership team through the strategic planning process.
