At Lakeside Christian Academy, being a biblical worldview school means far more than reciting Bible verses or enforcing "Christian" behavior—it is a commitment to shaping every aspect of education through the truth of God’s Word. We believe that each student is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), created with purpose and called to glorify Him in every sphere of life—academically, relationally, spiritually and beyond. A biblical worldview equips students to see the world not through the lens of culture or convenience, but through the unchanging truth of Scripture, forming the foundation for how they think, act, and engage with the world. As Proverbs 28:1 reminds us, “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion”—we aim to raise up students who live with boldness, conviction, and clarity in a world that desperately needs truth. At Lakeside, we cultivate strong minds through academic excellence, strong faith through discipleship and Scripture-rooted instruction, and strong futures by preparing students to lead lives of courage, integrity, and godly purpose in whatever calling they pursue.

Lakeside Christian Academy is the educational arm of New Horizon Church, a ministry of The Raymond Collective, helping us to fulfill the Great Commission by discipling the next generation and raise Godly leaders.

To partner with parents to train up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord in a caring and creative learning environment and empower them with a biblical worldview to reach their God-given potential by emphasizing all areas including emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical.

To become the premiere college preparatory school in East St. Tammany Parish through the combined efforts of dedicated administration, faculty, parents, and students; ultimately developing future generations of effective godly leaders serving Christ successfully and being salt and light in every area of our global society including family, church, business, government, culture and community.

At Lakeside Christian Academy, The Lakeside Way is more than a motto—it’s a movement of students who are trained to live with bold faith, Christlike character, and academic excellence. Rooted in a biblical worldview, The Lakeside Way is a commitment to seeing every subject, challenge, and opportunity through the lens of Scripture, and to doing all things with excellence as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). It is a culture that encourages students not to conform to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2), developing strong minds, strong faith, and strong futures that impact the world for Christ.
